The Tirepaq electronically corrects the vehicle's speedometer to compensate for non-stock tires, wheels and rear-end gear swaps. It also intelligently adjusts shift patterns to improve drivability when aftermarket tires, wheels, and gears are installed. The Superchips unit is never out of date, as consumers can update their Tirepaq via the internet.

The Tirepaq programmer can also be used to retrieve and clear those annoying "check engine" lights. The Tirepaq programmer can be upgraded for an additional charge to become the Superchips Flashpaq performance programmer.
