Advanced Flow Engineering, Inc. (aFe) produces high flow, high performance air filters & intake systems for the automotive industry. Founded in April, 1999, aFe was created to address an obvious need in the automotive aftermarket industry: a lack of choice for a high performance aftermarket air filter.

With the Magnum FORCE Stage 1 intake system, aFe replaces the stock air box and the stock air filter. By replacing the restrictive air box and air filter, there is a noticeable improvement in airflow and power. However, Stage 1 retains the stock intake tract. The Magnum FORCE Stage 2 intake system replaces the entire stock air induction system to the throttle body or turbo housing. Don't worry about the dificulty of installing these new air intake systems though, aFe manufactures every intake system to use the stock mounting holes of the original intake systems.

aFe knows how well their air intake systems and filters get air to your engine faster and more efficiently. However, they also know that it is important to get the air out just as efficiently. This is especially true in diesel engines which are simply a huge air pump. Since diesel engines are a compression ignition engine and modern diesel-powered vehicles are turbocharged, the more air you pump in, the more power you generate. However, which turbocharged diesel, it is very important to get the hot exhaust out or the Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) rise to critical level that could damage the turbo itself. Just like anything else, the more you ingest, the more you need to expel, otherwise things can get clogged up. That’s why aFe offers exhaust systems to go along with their air intake systems.
